To celebrate 2006 World Cup champions Italy and their new kits, we hosted the launch event at famed restaurateur Russell Belanca and executive chef Mirco Grassini’s brasserie, Trattoria Cinque, in Tribeca. Attendants were treated to fine Italian cuisine, an opera tenor, custom screen printed tee shirts that included an ultimate fan kit, a photo studiobooth complete with fan props, presentation of the national home and away kit and a live telecast of the first international friendly between Italy and Cameroon. If that wasn’t enough, we tracked down the ultimate Italian fan in New York City, Giovanni Iovine, to host the nite!
